A Day in the Life The Service & Repair Customer Care organization is the central interface between our customers and Medtronic’s service and repair processes in the DACH region, comprising Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. As part of establishing a new international Customer Care team, we support the entire service and repair lifecycle of medical devices and work closely with service centers, Field Service teams, logistics partners, and other internal functions. The position is based in Meerbusch near Düsseldorf and follows the Medtronic Flex work model. Employees work at least two days per week on-site at the Meerbusch office and may work remotely on the remaining days. Occasional business travel may be required for training, team meetings, or business events. More frequent on-site presence is required during onboarding and training. As a Customer Care Representative DACH, you will be the central point of contact for customers throughout the entire service and repair process. You will coordinate service requests, manage communication between internal and external partners, and ensure a positive customer experience. In this role, you will combine customer service, operational process management, and continuous improvement activities in a regulated medical technology environment. Primary Responsibilities Process and coordinate customer inquiries throughout the service and repair process for the DACH region. Create and manage service orders, quotations, and follow-up activities to ensure a high level of service quality. Communicate processing status and proactively inform customers about the progress of their requests. Collaborate with service technicians, repair centers, logistics teams, and other internal stakeholders to identify solutions. Manage and follow up on customer escalations and service-related complaints through to successful resolution. Ensure compliance with quality, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Contribute to process improvements to increase customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. Support projects, system improvements, and User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Required Qualifications Completed school education and at least two years of professional experience in customer service, Customer Support, Service Operations, Order Management, or a comparable operational environment. Fluent French and English language skills, both written and spoken. A basic level of German is required for this position. Residence within commuting distance of Meerbusch and willingness to work in the office at least two days per week, with more frequent on-site presence required during onboarding and training. Experience managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining a high level of accuracy and meeting deadlines. Confident use of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Excel, and Word. Experience working according to defined processes, guidelines, and service-level requirements. Preferred Qualifications Experience in healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, manufacturing, or another regulated industry. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) or Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems such as SAP or Salesforce. Knowledge of an additional European language. Experience managing customer escalations and complex service requests. Experience with process improvements, projects, or User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Pay range / Rango salarial / Intervalo salarial /Fascia retributiva / Tranche de salaire / Gehaltsband / Salaribereik: Germany: 42,640.00 EUR - 63,960.00 EUR | Netherlands: 40,000.00 EUR - 60,000.00 EUR | Poland: 88,000.00 PLN - 132,000.00 PLN | The final salary within this range will be determined based on objective, job-related criteria, including relevant experience, skills and qualifications, in accordance with our compensation framework. This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
