Job Description U.S. Bank’s Institutional Client Group (ICG) cultivates clients’ trust through customized service and access to the bank’s resources and expertise. Through a One U.S. Bank approach, ICG brings together capabilities across capital markets, credit, payments, liquidity, investments, and other financial solutions to help corporate clients achieve their strategic, financial and operational objectives. ICG Global Industrials and Services (GIS) serves large corporate clients with more than $1 billion in annual revenue that are not covered by one of U.S. Bank’s Specialized Industries divisions. The organization operates through a region-based coverage model designed to align senior bankers with client needs, markets, and growth opportunities. U.S. Bank is seeking an experienced senior corporate banking leader to serve as a Division Manager for the GIS Northeast division. This position will provide strategic direction and oversight for the Northeast large-cap corporate banking business, leading a team of experienced Relationship Managers and relationship management professionals responsible for developing and expanding relationships with sophisticated corporate clients. The Division Manager will be accountable for the overall growth, performance, and strategic direction of the division. The leader will establish market and client priorities, drive business development efforts, deepen existing relationships, and position the team to capture significant new opportunities with large corporate clients. Particular emphasis will be placed on identifying priority clients and prospects, expanding U.S. Bank’s relevance with clients, and pursuing opportunities where the bank can take meaningful leadership roles. Base pay for this role usually falls within $275,000 to $315,000. Additional considerations regarding base pay levels are based on candidate qualifications. Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, accounting, business or other related field - 15 or more years of banking experience Preferred Skills/Experience - Extensive knowledge of large corporate banking and the financial needs of companies with revenues exceeding $1 billion - Proven ability to establish and execute a strategic business-development plan and drive sustainable revenue and relationship growth - Strong track record of originating new relationships and expanding existing client relationships - Executive presence and demonstrated ability to develop trusted relationships with senior corporate executives and financial decision makers - Advanced knowledge of corporate credit, complex financing structures, capital structures and risk management - Ability to identify, prioritize and pursue significant client and prospect opportunities - Demonstrated ability to lead senior Relationship Managers and create a high-performance, accountable and collaborative team culture - Strong coaching, talent development, and leadership capabilities - Ability to coordinate multidisciplinary client teams and effectively bring together partners from across U.S. Bank - Strong understanding of capital markets, treasury management, payments and other corporate banking solutions - Ability to balance relationship growth, credit quality, risk management, and profitability - Strong negotiation and influencing skills with senior internal and external stakeholders - Excellent analytical, strategic decision-making and problem-solving skills - Excellent verbal, written and executive-level communication skills - Considerable tact, diplomacy and interpersonal skills - Demonstrated ability to operate effectively across a complex, matrixed organization - Commitment to maintaining strong risk-management practices and ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory requirements, policies, and guidelines FINRA License: As a condition of employment, you are required to hold or obtain the following licenses: SIE, Series 79, and Series 63 within 180 calendar days of your start date. The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $227,430.00 - 277,970.00 U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
